Daniel Mandelbaum

Certified Family Mediator at Toronto Divorce Mediaton

Daniel is a Registered Clinical Psychologist from Argentina, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Psychology. He is a certified family mediator by the J.I.B.C, and a member of FMC (family mediation Canada), OAFM (Ontario association for family mediation), and IACP international academy of collaborative professionals.

After completing his University, Daniel practiced for several years in private practice at the Italian Hospital, specializing in Family Therapy. Since 2009 Daniel has been specialized in Divorce and separation, high conflict resolution, and parenting plans.

He studied at the Justice Institute of British Columbia and became a Certified Family Mediator. He is one of the few exceptionally qualified Family Mediators with a background in Clinical Psychology in the ON area. Daniel believes it is time to change the way of approaching conflicts, surrounding himself with a group of one-minded legal professionals who are collaborative in their approach. He cannot see a conflict getting resolved if all the professional heads are not together in the same room, unlike the traditional confrontation approach, he believes in a collaborative approach to resolve, not only divorce but conflict in general also.

Daniel is married and has two grown children, both are in Toronto. When he is not busy mediating a separation agreement, he can be seen cruising around town on his beloved Vespa or playing his tenor saxophone.
